Painted the Header

The on going fix for overheating continues. I have installed an electric fan and removed the fan clutch. Played the thermostat game between low temp and back to stock. Hood vents from a junk yard. The most expensive a 3 core, steel radiator.

After looking at new headers and realized $400 -$500 is to much for me I noticed they have coatings. Ceramic coatings are meant to lower the under hood temperature. Since the in line six not only shares the same gasket for intake and exhaust the intake and exhaust manifold are almost touching themselves. So another cheap fix I have tried is this:

Black Satin (BHK)™
Black Satin™ is the most advanced exhaust system coating available
Withstands 2000f temperatures
Easy to apply ceramic reinforced coating designed for high temperature applications
Reduces under hood temperatures, reduces exhaust manifold surface temperatures
Improve exhaust gas velocity, increase H.P.
Air drying, requires no baking, cures on car with exhaust heat.

If it works great. If it doesn't the paint was $20 bucks and a $10 gasket
